Our History
Wellspring Christian Church was formed in September 2002.
Shortly after our inception, we began meeting weekly in the Coatesville Library
basement on Sunday night. As we continued to grow, we moved to nearby South Putnam
High School and began worshipping together on Sunday mornings in May 2003.
That same year, the Lord answered our prayer for the purchase of 10 acres of land
located along US 40. Through much prayer and countless volunteer hours, our current
building was finished in 2006.
Our first pastor, Brett Parks, began in 2004 after graduating from Indiana Wesleyan University. He led us faithfully for four years until God called him in a different direction.
Our current pastor, Brian Martin, was called in July 2008. Brian holds a B.S. in English Education from Miami University (Ohio) and a M.Div from Covenant Theological Seminary (St. Louis). Brian served in ministry in Ohio and Missouri before coming to Wellspring. He and his wife, Valerie, have three young children who ask the best theological questions, ("Daddy, does Jesus have a spring coat?").
