For Children

Wellspring offers several opportunities for children to get involved in the life of the church. Nursery is available for newborns-age 3 during both the Sunday school hour and worship. Sunday school classes are currently broken down into four age groups:

  1. age 4 – 2nd grade
  2. 3rd – 7th grades
  3. 8th – 12th grades



We offer children's church for children age 4 - 5th grade during the second half of each Sunday worship service. During this time, the children will be taught a lesson from the Bible, sing, and participate in activities geared to their age-level. We also welcome children to stay with their parents for the entire worship service, understanding that many parents value this weekly family time.


Our upper elementary children are involved in an excellent puppet ministry that performs several times a year at church dinners and during worship services. Each year our children present an original Christmas program, and we hope to expand our youth music/drama program in the future to include other holidays and special church events.
